will be an experienced leader with strong skills in Front of House operations management, and the ability to be creative while effectively controlling food, beverage and labor costs. You will excel at creating a culture that focuses on exceeding our members already high expectations, ensuring the highest standards of food and beverage quality and service, and creativity in menu and beverage selections. You will have a keen interest in training and motivating the food and beverage team. You will work hands on with our team, our Executive Chef and our Restaurant Manager to operate a food and beverage department that is passionate and committed to excellence and member satisfaction.
Oversee overall organization and operation of the food and beverage operation and its staff with emphasis on the FOH.
Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of the restaurant, restrooms, dining rooms, and surrounding areas.
Ensure highest standards of food, beverage, and service.
Oversee guest satisfaction process as it relates to the F&B department and ensure that all quality & service standards are adhered to at all times.
Ensure the practice of proper hygiene as designated by management and the health department.
Work in conjunction with the Executive Chef to prepare annual budgets and forecasts within established parameters and effectively monitor revenue and expenses throughout the day to day operations.
Develop and implement revenue increasing strategies.
Research, benchmark, & stay current on industry trends for implementation of new concepts and products in the
various F&B outlets.
Assist with purchasing, receiving, conducting inventory, and rotating food and beverages at all venues.
Assist with overseeing selection, training, motivation, development, and coaching of departmental staff.
Directly supervise and direct Assistant F&B Manager.
Conduct weekly meetings with F&B direct reports in order to evaluate progress on identified/assigned future goals & objectives.
Ensure proper maintenance and operation of the
restaurant equipment and facilities.
Work the floor in all positions as needed.
Maintain contact with guests and help ensure guest satisfaction.
Maintain satisfactory business relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring optimum pricing and quality of product.
Assist with hiring, training, coaching, counselling, evaluating, and scheduling of all F&B front of house employees in conjunction with Assistant F&B Managers.
Perform performance evaluations and provide daily feedback to employees.
Receive, investigate, and act upon complaints from guests and employees to ensure proper resolution.
Maintain communication with all F&B venues, F&B employees and other departments to ensure seamless dining & event execution.
Completes other tasks/duties as assigned.
Previous experience in a senior leadership role required
- Computer literate in Microsoft Windows applications required
- University/College degree in a related discipline
- Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
